88 2.3TC turning over, not getting fuel

The alternator is working fine, has all interior lights, power works great.
The engine turns over great, but it appears to not be getting fuel. any suggestions...

what happened was, i got it running fine but the clutch wasnt working. so i had it towed to the clutch dr., apon arrivle, it would not start anymore.

any suggestions would be awsome

When you turn the key on, do you hear a whirring sound coming from the rear? Have you tested the bleeder valve on the fuel system with the key on? (schrader valve, make sure you have safety glasses on. You don't want fuel spraying in your eyes) If you can hear the pump putting preasure in the system, but no fuel is coming out of the valve, your fuel filter may be clogged. It's located just behind the passenger door, and under the car. It's a stubby cylinder with a hose clamped on each end. You should change it anyway, if you haven't in the last year or two. 🙂
