AC is out in my Tbird. Just had it into the dealer as no one else could figure out the problem. AC blowing Very Hot air. Ford says that I need to find a Heater Control Head, and to get that installed to see if it needs anything else, and that Ford has discontinued the item. "The control head is not turning off the water valve". I am a single female, recently moved from California to Indiana and it is very humid here, I got heatstroke twice last year, not in my car. If you know of any specialists around Fort Wayne, IN, that info would be very helpful to me also. Definitely need the part. Thanks!

I don't think that's the name of the part. You need the part number and/or the name of the part needed.

Here is a thread with many of the parts named and links to buy them-

This is probably the part you need-

I was thinking that too. By all accounts it’s not that difficult to do. Ford dealers will not go out of their way to get a part from other suppliers. Any competent A/C or radiator shop should be able to take care of this.
