I am interested in converting my 2005 Tbird's engine to a Mustang Coyote motor. Are there kits available to do this?

Thanks,
David

I don't believe the suspension would be able to withstand that engine. If you fix that you might as well go body-off-frame and do it right.

I'm interested in the same thing but maybe just the 5.0. I've not found anyone in the West Palm area that knows or does such work.

It should be a brilliant swap if technically feasible. As for too much power for the not too robust Thunderbird chassis, that may not be an issue if the added power is used with a bit of discretion. But, what will work for the transmission? A 10 speed auto would be great if it can be made to fit.

Anything's possible. I once installed a Ford Mustang Cobra Tremec T5 race spec in my 73 Corvette. My neighbor and I custom made the adapter plate to make the swap possible.
