2004 Fuel Pump error code p1233

I just got a call from the mechanic and he has an error code p1233 anyone else have this issue on their 2004 thunderbird

I'm sure your mechanic informed you that this is a fuel pump related issue like the fuel pump, fuel pump relay or inertia switch? If you search the forums, you will see that there have been MANY people that have replaced the fuel pump in this car.

Does the car start and run? Inertia fuel shutoff (IFS) switch may need to be reset.

• Inertia fuel shutoff (IFS) switch needs to be reset.
• Open FPDM ground circuit
• Open circuit to FPDM PWR RLY
• Open FPDM PWR circuit
• Open or shorted FPM circuit (engine should start).
• Damaged IFS switch.
• Damaged FPDM PWR RLY
• Damaged FPDM
• Damaged PCM

2002 T Bird fuel pump replacement.

My fuel pump looks like it is shot. Started car one day, ran for 10 seconds, then died. Fuse for fuel pump blew. Replaced fuse but no pump. Checked fuel pressure fitting under hood, and no pressure. Have opened up area behind seat to expose fuel pump area. Anyone have any hints on how to...
