Shortly after purchase I noticed after the engine reached operating temp it would begin to miss, sputter and run rough (almost like limp mode). Many times it would die. I could shut off the key for about 15 seconds and then it would restart and it would run perfectly for about 2 min and then the issues would immediately start over again. The car would run perfect up to about 30min (a little after operating temp) and then the issues start. Took it to a mechanic. He check fuel pressure, etc. He ended up replacing the Fuel Pump Relay and that seems to have fixed the engine running rough issue. NOW... after I drove it home and parked in the garage (car ran perfectly) I went to drive it a couple of days later and now the driver window will not work (up or down), the engine oil warning light and the door ajar light stays on, the rear trunk lid release will not work and the window calibration that lowers and raises the window slightly when exiting is not working on the passenger side. The pass side window and door locks all work. This is the craziest thing! I have owned 5 of these vehicles throughout the years and all have been great! I have checked the fuses, all good. And now the car doesn't seem to want to start. It cranks very fast but acts like its not getting fuel. I did the Turn key on for 5 sec, turn off x 4 times to prime the pump (read it on a forum) and the car started right up. Could this be the FEM? Any help and guideance would be TREMENDOUSLY appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!

Some of the Most Common Problems caused by F.E.M. are:

* Dash Illumination Problems (No Dash Light, No Shifter Light).
* Head lights not working.
* Front Turn Signal Problems.
* Window does not drop when door open. (driver side).
* No Wipers, No Horn. Oil light is on.
* Convertible Top not working properly.
* Problem of Draining battery.
* Power Steering is stiff: Code C1925.
* Shift interlock malfunction.

Before you condemn the F.E.M. check all of the vehicle's control modules for stored faults. Anytime there is an electrical problem that causes a warning light to illuminate or something not to function properly, a fault code is stored in any number of the vehicle's control modules. It doesn't matter if the warning light is no longer illuminated, fault codes and freeze frame data are stored in the control module's memory. If you can tell me what fault codes are stored in the different control modules, I'll be able to help you with your concerns. Start by using a scan tool, not just an OBD code reader, to check for faults stored in all control modules.
