I rercently bought a 2002 Thunderbird. Everything seems to work except the Cruise Control. Is there a preferred garage or dealer you folks use in Tulsa?
Thank You, Gene Silvis

There are over 19,400 cities in the USA, so your best bet is to look at reviews from nearby mechanics. Odds of someone from your area seeing this post are slim.

P.S. your title "2002" has been updated to summarize what your post is about.

I would consider buying an OBDII codes reader so you can troubleshoot issues.

Here is a thread related to your topic-

Gene, Despite the odds against it, I am in the Tulsa area, I only know of one other owner I've actually talked to, and he could only advise me against going to the local dealer, whom he had the unfortunate opportunity of using for a rather expensive repair with unsatisfactory results. I am currently looking for someone to evaluate my suspension system ( I have a 2002 with 15,000 miles on it ) since the age is causing the rubber in the system to crumble. If I find a good mechanic, I will let you know. I hope that if you find one, you keep me posted as well. I am also thinking that my Cruise isn't functioning as of the last time I tried to used it (I rarely try since the reason I bought mine was to experience the pleasure of actually driving it instead of my everyday vehicle which pretty much drives itself). Good Luck.
