The best thing I did for my stock engine was change to a HEI dist. Made all the difference in the world, no more falling on its face . more power, just runs better all around,

Actually it fits under the hood rather fine. The only issue was a small section of the underskin that touched the top of the distributor. Nothing a cut-off wheel couldn't fix. Later I plan on smoothing it out so it looks a bit cleaner.
