The best thing I did for my stock engine was change to a HEI dist. Made all the difference in the world, no more falling on its face . more power, just runs better all around,

anybody know how an HEI distributor compares to a pertronix ignitor and coil setup? The best thing I did for my stock engine was change to a HEI dist. Made all the difference in the world, no more falling on its face . more power, just runs better all around,
What does BIIIIIG mean?Runs nice now. But this thing looks biiiiig
Actually it fits under the hood rather fine. The only issue was a small section of the underskin that touched the top of the distributor. Nothing a cut-off wheel couldn't fix. Later I plan on smoothing it out so it looks a bit cleaner.Hahaha......and you smash them with the bonnet.......
It's so nice now. She fires right up! Much better than that antiquated points distributor. The wires and coil too.Hey OAO, don't get me wrong, I like it!
