anybody know how an HEI distributor compares to a pertronix ignitor and coil setup?

Actually it fits under the hood rather fine. The only issue was a small section of the underskin that touched the top of the distributor. Nothing a cut-off wheel couldn't fix. Later I plan on smoothing it out so it looks a bit cleaner.

It's so nice now. She fires right up! Much better than that antiquated points distributor. The wires and coil too.
