Hi
We have recently replaced the starter relay .
I think the wires were replaced correctly followed the diagram from chiltons book and it looks correct. Motor cranks over ok
But no start.
Found no spark from coil
Replaced coil still no spark
I would appreciate any ideas what to look for. Thanks

Thanks will try that in the morning

Ive been reading this could be ignition switch issue?
Car has been sitting not run for a long time like 2-3 years so i cant see how the ignition switch would have gone bad

Plug wires on solenoid? Let’s get our descriptions correct....
There are no plug wires on any solenoid.

there are two wires on top of the relay solenoid by the battery that just plug onto it.

1} I do not trust Chilton's motor manual
2} Check and see of wires are not crossed {switch the wires and see what happens}
3} Check points and condenser
These are the easiest steps to check
