Hello everybody, me and my father are trying to check out the wiring for our 65 t-bird. We could use some help and how to proceed on doing so if anyone could help us out. We took out the lower panel but still can’t see any wiring. Maybe we will try taking out the panels above it. I will send a picture through as well. image.jpg

Since we are an all Thunderbird site, there is no need to include this in your subject.
 
You didn't need to take off the top of the console but you do need to take off the sides (at least one side, probably both). You'll probably have to remove some of the trim to remove the side panels; I don't recall that detail exactly.
 
Yes remove the side panel and trim the passenger side is easiest since you don't have to contend with the steering wheel. Once you get that off you can determine if you need to remove the lower panel on the bottom of the dash to allow for the removal of the radio. Good luck!
