1965 firewall connection nipple

1965 with 390. Could someone please enlighten me on what this nipple on the firewall goes to?

That is the wiper hose connection. These birds wipers are run off power steering pump with hydraulic motor under the cowl. There should be a return hose going to the power steering pump. The one in the picture goes to the power steering gearbox.
