02-05 Chroming hood bezel

The owner of Powersport, Philip, DID offer to credit me the amount I paid for the bezel to apply it to the new chrome bezel they are developing (can't recall the details), so all good so far with Powersport!

I believe that the idea of chroming the original hood bezel has been explored in the past. If I recall correctly, the bezel is plastic which involves an entirely different process to chrome. Few places can do it and the price was prohibitive.

NOT true. Yes few places can do it, No price is prohibitive. If Starbuc's can charge & get what they do for their coffee then whatever the cost is for a chrome plated hood scoop people will pay.
