UPDATE EMAIL ADDRESS
Are the new T-bird rated for towing a trailer?

If so, up to how many pounds?

Is a trailer hitch an option that can be ordered from the dealer?

I'm thinking that it might be nice to tow a small motorboat.

Also, can the T-bird be towed behind a motorhome with four wheels down?
Is a towing plate made for this conection?

I'm not actually interested in doing that, but there might be some people that would be interested.

I went to a Houston Tbird car club meeting and saw Hugh with his trailer hitch installed on an '02. You have to cut an approximate 1-1/2 high by 3" long tab out of the center of the rear bottom trim panel. I tasked Discount Hitch here in Houston with getting the hitch and the special electrical box in;went to MCRD, San Diego last week came back and the dealer had done nothing. I plan to put 100lbs on the tongue with a 1065lb gross weight. Trailer will be extremely long though....
