Dear Mr dchamb,
The drivers seat is on the left along with the steering wheel! There are a lot of left hand drive cars over here and in Ireland. Do you get any right hand drive cars in the USA?

Pudgey x

I love my Thunderbird, and I very often kiss it! Do any of you other lads kiss your thunderbirds?

Just wondering if ford made any for the British market.
I have never kissed either of my t-birds, haven't even kissed IN them. Thats not the case with the one I had in 1957, as I was a teenager then, inspired by Elvis, the Platters etc. I am glad you enjoy your car so. Its good to consider driving an experience and not just a means from point A to point B. I think perhaps you mistake frustration with dealerships for dissatisfaction with the t-birds. I think we all love our birds.
The only right hand drivers seats I have seen here are made for and driven by rural mail deliverers.
Happy motoring.
