have Premier soft top for 1956, but have never installed. Does the installed soft top, stored behind power seat limit the seat travel (another words make it difficult to move the seat all of the way back)?

It should not interfere with the power seat. Still very important to learn how to properly raise and lower the top. Good YouTube on the process and if you are old school there’s always the owners manual.

If you have ever struggled with putting your soft top behind the seat, here is a good technique video.

If your soft top is equipped with the swing bar (likely), removing the swing bar will allow the seat to move back a bit farther.
