Seat heater 2005 Thunderbird

This is an always been there issue since I got my bird from the showroom floor.
The seat heater has two settings, too hot and hotter still. My daughters had VW bugs with 5 settings for seat heat. Has anyone addressed this?

You probably know this already, the hotter setting is the seat cushion & seat back heaters are on. Just hot is only the seat cushion heater is on. There is not built-in temperature sensor or control in the seats, that's built-in the person sitting in the seat & when the car seats get too hot or hotter still it is time to turn the heated seat switch off. That's about as automatic as it gets. 😉
