Don't know if anyone has had this issue before. I have a 2006 that has been giving me fits. The car will rev on its own, mostly but not always at idle. Then if the car is parked after a couple of bouts of this behavior it will die when started again. After several attemps to restart it will stay running. Ford can not find the problem. The computer shows no codes, and they have checked all the usual suspects, ie vacuum, MAF, Coils. Since it shows no codes they have no clue. I am ready to scrap it before I rear end some unsuspecting motorist. If anyone has had this issue before I would appreciate your input. Calls to Ford have produced zip, and I have yet to call Jaguar.
