We have a 2005 Thunderbird that is used as a drag racer for our high school racing club. We want to modify the rear axle with a positraction-type differential and 4.10 gears. We understand this is an 8.0 center section, but need to find out what vendors produce the parts we're interested in. Thank you.

In addition Tasca Ford Racing in Carnston RI has a shop dedicated to Mustang rebuilds...they might have access to the info. FYI the 3.9 Jaguar with the turbo charger will fit in your bird if you do an engine swap...390 HP!

Have fun, johnvins...vroom vroom!
