Replacing the power mirror switch, I have removed lower panel under steering wheel with no problem. Stuck now on how to remove the chrome vertical panel that surround the lights and PW switch. How does it get removed ..

The aluminum panel just pops out, use some type of plastic to pry. I have a new power mirror switch that I never used (cleaned the old one) if you want it cheap, also a passenger power door lock switch and a tonneau boot cover black for a 2002. Just sold my car.

Replaced mine today. 15 min job $13. No critics on the Persian rug mats. Bought car from a 91 year old guy who owned a fabric mill. Promised I’d keep them in car. CH

Is there a video somewhere that shows this replacement?
I didn't use a video. I followed instructions posted on multiple links here. I used a plastic pry bar for trim removal and everything came off easily. As mentioned by another user (somewhere), I would warm up the interior of the car for a bit prior to prying off parts. Leave in the sunshine with windows up for a couple of hours. This plastic gets pretty fragile with age. I have mine in climate controlled garage so no real worry for me in January. Good luck. I have more pictures and maybe that will help some. CH

Careful with plastic prybar. There is a notch on far left next to lights that you could stick plastic bar into to release far left clip (look at pic). From what I remember is was really easy to pry off and I didn't need to push by notch. If you look at first 3 pics in what I posted you see the back of chrome horizontal panel. I am not sure which vertical panel you are referring to? Good luck.
