I bought a 2004 TBird in good condition, accept I got skunked for brakes and a catalytic converter. I only paid $6,500 for it so I'm in the black still. Nice car.

So, I'm missing the soft-top "boot". Can anyone tell me where to get one that doesn't cost $800?

Thanks,
Crew

Hi there. I found one, brand new on Ebay for $200. They are rare, but cheaper ones are out there. Try Ebay or Amazon, or just search on Google

I assume you mean the "cover" for the soft top when down. A lot of them don't have one. I decided it was a waste of money since you put the top up fairly often to secure the car at work, the mall etc.

Good point. I just got the Tbird and still have the hard top on. Once I remove that and use the soft-top I suspect that I will agree with you.
