Does anyone know when the last t'bird rolled off the line, where it went and who got it? Kinda sad.

Send a PM to Quickdraw he has all of tat info....OR, do asearch and you'll find it posted here somewhere

This photo of the dash plaque pretty much answers your questions...

"Last 2005 Ford Thunderbird produced July 1st 2005 for the family of Josephine Ford." The car was delivered to Maine.

Note this photo is copyright by the Bangor Daily News and I have used it with their permission.

EDIT: By the way, it was platinum silver, silver hardtop, black accent interior, no SST, and 7 spoke chrome wheels. As built, except the dash plaque, it was one of 28 made like this for the 2005 model year.

You can always count on Quickdraw....
Many thanks.
Now, is J. Ford one of the Ford family or is it just happenstance?
Thanks again.

It's one of the family. It was meant for Josephine Ford, the granddaughter to Henry Ford the first but she died at 81 before she took delivery. I believe Josephines daughter (Henrys great granddaughter and I think also named Josephine) got the car.
