Further to my prior post: Always garaged. Underbody almost as clean as when new (roads are clean here in Tyler, TX so little road splash accumulation). Mostly preventive maintenance only. Exceptions: 'Replaced throttle position sensor two days after delivery Have replaced a few coil-overs. Front lower ball joint dust/dirt boots failed about ten yrs. ago; service shop owner, a good friend, advised to drive it until the ball joints otherwise need replacing rather than replace ball joints only because the boots turned to dust (the latter a failure common to many makes, including my Mercedes Benz stuff). Now have code PO456 - a very small evap emission leak - equivalent to a 0.020 dia. hole.; location, from a smoke test, is very difficult to access. 'Turns CEL on at about 3 month intervals. I just erase it using my OBD II scan tool. Driven at three month intervals for about a month as part of preventive maintenance.
