Hood alignment question, 2002

Hello. My hood appears to be misaligned by perhaps a millimeter, maybe two, with one side slightly higher than the other. Can the hood be aligned? Thank you.

You can adjust the hood on the front half, by screwing in or out the rubber stops mounted
right behind the headlights in the engine compartment. The other half of the hood near
the windshield is very difficult to adjust, would require shims under the hood hinges.
