I received my red Tbird in August 2001 but I bought it without a hardtop and without the fog lights. I'm now buying a red hardtop from somebody but he does not have the wrench to install it. Does anybody know the part # and how I could order it? I also remember reading posts regarding the scratches that occur when the hardtop is in place and that there was tape or some sort of product to help prevent this but I can't find the posts. I'd also like to find out the part number for the chrome grill. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Pete

Pete- I used the tape strips provided by Ford (you get 4 sets with the top, you have to buy after that) and they work fine. Some people are using a product called X-pel. Re parts, check with your local Ford dealer. PK
