Dear cbjen,

I beleive what we owners have is a defect from the Ford factory.
I am going to call Ford and ask them to remedy this gross underestimate of rub which has caused severe damage to my clear coat paint. The owners manual calls for cleaning every time removed or 3 months or 3 thousand miles. My damage occured at less than 100 miles and is getting worse every time I drive.

I think Ford shoud fix/pay for the problem, not the consumer.

If we all stick together on this one, we can get a nation wide recall.
