It is that time again and I am thinking about putting the top on my bird. Last year and the year before I used a 3m tape product. Since cleaning my garage I cannot find the name of the tape or where I purchased it. The tape was in a roll and I cut it as needed.

Anyone know where I can order the tape and what it is called?
Thanks

Of course Ford, but that's expensive. Here's a link. They do make the cover for the deck http://clearfilmprotection.com/
Some have actually used thin weather stripping, believe it or not, with success

You can get the "Mylar Tape Kit" from your local Ford Dealer with this part# 4W6Z-76202W30-AA

That Mylar Tape Kit works temporarily.

A better alternative is the "Hardtop Protection Stainless Steel Trim" Out of Business/reardeck.htm It is a far more superior alternative to the Mylar Tape Kit.
