Find Out How Rare Your '02-'05 Thunderbird is...

So I have a 2004 with 54000 miles and according to QuickDraw it is a 1 of 2 car. Does anyone know how to evaluate the price of this car? I was not aware of how rare it was when I bought it.

TXblueBird,
Sorry I copy and paste and apparently didn't replace color with price... dealer cost was $40,740.02.

DockBoss, I don't see your VIN....

BrentJB, Yes, I'm in NW Indiana... where are you?
I don't know if the one of two makes it more much more valuable... value comes when you find someone who wants what you have. The black body with sand interior was not ordered in large quantities and topped off with the white hardtop made it really rare. If every thing else was the same except if yours was a black hardtop yours would have been one of 283.

Fisher’s IN, just north of Indy
I led a group of maybe 15 Thunderbird owners on a tour of the Lima Ohio Engine Plant in 2004 or 2005 -(that's where the engines for our cars were made) and one of the group was from Fishers. I don't remember his name but at the time I thought Fishers was a small town. And it used to be not that long ago! I just looked up the population and see Fishers grew from 7,500 in 1990 to 90,000 today... Just from 1990 to 2000 it grew from 7,500 to 38,000! WOW!

This is a great service, thank you! We bought it in Maryland

Most of my T-Bird owning friends know their car's lineage, how it ranks in production order, # of cars produced with exact same color, style, etc. I have seen some reference to this on The Forum and was hoping someone can help me out? Here's my VIN...1FAHP60A94Y109726. This car includes matching Ice Blue Metallic hard top. It currently has 9500 miles with no modifications. Thanks for any help.

Is someone able to tell me how many TBird blue cars were manufactured in 2002? Thanks

31,368 total Thunderbirds for 2002, 7,406 of those were Thunderbird Blue. Give me your last five VIN digits and Ill tell you more. If yours is not a 2002 I need the last 8 digits.

Minerbird,
No, most of your friends DO NOT know in what order their cars were built. What they are going by is the VIN number that is only approximately the order they were built. From one consecutive number to the next might have a month or more between them. 2002 Thunderbird VIN 1FAHP60A12Y100001 was built on 6/11/2001 and there were 284 thunderbirds built before that date, including the 200 Neiman Marcus editions. Yet, whoever has 0001 will claim it to be the first one made. False.

There were 9689 2004s made before 4/21/2004 and 51 made on that date so it is theoretically possible, but unlikely, that your VIN and build order are the same. The VINs on those 51 built that day range from 109499 to 109877.

Hope this helps...
