CORRECTION: Message # 1310 contains a reference to a "2002 Cashmere Special Edition" - of course that should read "2005 Cashmere Special Edition" - 2005 is the only year Cashmere was offered on the retro- Thunderbird.

Thank you . !!!! What is "SST"? And since my wife hasn't driven this car much in the 4 years we've had it where would advertise it if you were selling. And having a very well maintained 67K on the odometer what do you think is a reasonable asking price?

SST is Select Shift Transmission = an approximate $100 - $150 option that allowed gears to be selected manually instead of shifting ony automatically.

I don't know what it would be worth...

Tbird Harley 03, There were two part numbers for the chrome hood scoop, one for the 2002 Neiman Marcus and a different part number for the 2002 Cashmere Special Edition. While any Ford parts department should be able to get the you numbers unfortunately it will not do you any good as they have been unavailable for years. What the Tbird community needs is for someone to find a shop that can chrome plate our original plastic hood scoops.

I think I know of a place here in Rhode Island that may be of some assistance in that I will take a ride over to them and see what they can do for us here on this forum and maybe offer a discount I would be more than happy if they work out a nice deal and if so I will post a link with their company and phone number for anyone that would like to reach them. Also last question how do I start a discussion on here or a forum on here I have yet been able to find out how to do that

There were six cars just like your built on 4/14/2003 so the closest I can tell yours was either the 331, 332, 333, 334, 335 or 336th of the 534.

I don't think anyone but the website operator can start a new FORUM. A forum is a major category holding THREADS of different topics. Example: Click on FORUMS at the top of page next to HOME page, "2002 - 2005 Ford Thunderbird" is a forum. "What did you do to your Tbird today? " is a THREAD in that forum. If you do not see a red POST NEW THREAD button (on the right side of the page, near the top of the page, just at the same level as the HOME button). If you do not see the red button to the far right of the HOME button option then you might have to upgrade your membership before you can start a new thread.

Actually that was an error on my part, the "5" just before the Y in the VIN tells you the year, so yours is a 2005. However to answer your question, yes, there were 4,431 2005 Thunderbirds made during 2004.
