Your one of 103 is so uncommon because it did not include the popular SST - select shift transmission shifter. That and the stupid steering wheel shift paddles on my Taurus seem to me to be a waste of money. JMHO.

The way the stick is set up, I can still go through each gear, even without the SST.
Mueller Motor Co is now out of business. Not sure when that happened.

You can go thru each gear MANUALLY?
 
Well, yes.
On the left side, down from N is D5.
You can flip the lever to the right, and it is 4.
Then, from that position, below 4 is 3
below 3 is 2-1.
So, from a stop sign, I can start in 1-2 and hold it there until I can
move up one gate to 3, then up again to 4, then to the left to D5.

Isn't the SST sort of + and - type of shift on the right side?
 
Actually, I was working from memory, as mine is tucked in (Minneapolis). Bottom most gear goes down all the way to 1, so it is D5, then 4 to the right, then

I found two similar cars both Neiman Marcus Editions that sold at auction for around $30K. However, in both cases these had even less miles 300-7,000. Mine has approximately 17,000. I have mine listed for $24K and have not gotten a single call in a month. I'd like someone to call and just tell me that I'm crazy. I did go to CarMax for an appraisal and they offered me less than half what those other cars sold for at auction.
 
BB865; Stick with it. There's a buyer for everything. And of course when warmer weather comes in you may get your price as is... 24k is not all that bad, but I wouldn't go below $22k - Just my input🙂
 
2002 Thunderbird

I recently purchased a 2002 Thunderbird - LOVE it.
It has a Thunderbird Blue exterior with matching hardtop. It also has the two-tone interior. The vehicle was originally purchased from Sarasota Ford - Florida. The vehicle has just over 13,000 miles on it. (It still wears the Sarasota Ford sticker on the rear bumper!

Please work your magic and let me know whatever other facts are out there.

2002 NM For Sale

Put it on eBay and list for $28k or best offer. It's free to list and you'll get a feel if there are any takers at that price. List it in May when the weather gets warmer everywhere. To get the $30k you're looking for I think you'd have to have under 10k miles. I recently paid $21k for an 'as new' 2002 Premium with 13k miles - a Florida car. Don't forget to put a reserve of $24k or it could get sold for way less than you want. Good luck.

Can you supply me some information on my 2002 T Bird, VIN 1FAHP60A72Y128112, I bought it new back in 2002, White exterior,
with black convertable top, white hard top, and black interior. 7 spoke chrome wheels, has front fog lights, has 11,904 miles,
still looks new, we do not use it much, but everything works, only had one problem with it back when new, one of the power door
locks quit working, believe they replaced a relay module in the trunk. No problem since. Always starts. I think it has the SST
transmission, I am able to shift through the gears. Has the cart for the hard top, and cover for the hard top. Also has the hard
boot for when the top is down. Thanks.
 
Sounds like a nice car. I've got 16,000 on my 2002 so you've got some driving to do to catch up...
