Extended Warranty

I remember seeing a thread which discussed the Ford Extended Warranty. I cannot find it now, perhaps it was on the old board. One option which was discusses was the option to cancel the extended warrentee and get your money back if it was not used. The requirement was that you sign up for it when you bought your car, not later. Does anyone know anything about that. My dealer doesn't see to know.

You do not have to buy the ESP Extended Warranty at the same time you purchase the car. You can buy ESP anytime during the manufactures warranty of 3year/36,000 miles, but it must be purchased before the manufactures warranty expires. You may also cancel the ESP and receive a pro-rated refund. ESP is also transferable to a next owner for I believe $75 or $50.
