The other day I happened to move my exhaust tail pipe from side to side and it seems a too loose to me. Has anyone noticed this or is it just me.

The pipes are usually hung with a rubber hanger that is held to the frame and the pipe with pins (through the ends of the rubber strap). Look at the strap and make sure it is held at both ends. They could slip off and hang independently.

If the strap is held at both ends, the movement is normal "slack".
