engine fan runs non stop

UPDATE EMAIL ADDRESS
After warmup, dash temp gauge remains neutral but fan starts and doesn,t stop. Two years ago dealer replaced cylinder head temp sensor, problem stopped. This year it started again. I thought I remembered reading a post concerning this issue and a related TSB. Someone mentioned that if not installed properly and the wire touched metal, the sensor would short and the fan would runon. Comments?

You do not mention what year car you have. 2002 had a hydraulic fan where 2003-2005 had electric fans. Therefore, I won't spend time searching my TSB's w/o the year.
I do recall that some owners I knew of with 2002's had issues with fans. Don't recall just what it was

No TSB's that I can find. In fact I found nothing on faulty electric cooling fans. If it keeps running and you're not overheating that's good. However, it may mean that a sensor to shut the fan off is bad
