My 66 may turn over just fine then the next time all electronics are gone. I just noticed that when this happens everything is gone lights gauges etc. Put in a new battery and terminals. Solenoid also replaced. Anyone have this problem? Going to check the ground wire next.

My ride’s a 57 but similar problem
Turned out to be positive cable connection at solenoid
Looked clean and tight but upon removal and inspection it wasn’t.
Cleaned cable end with brass brush applied light coating of electrical contact dressing, problem gone
First time it happened, quite embarrassing, was at gas pump with a few people around admiringemb the car. So proud !!
climbed in hit the key and NOTHING.
Had ya ask those same people to help push the car out of the way so that I could fiddle with things to get it running. So embarrassing:-(

I will check that also. Mine did that at the gas pump also. So embarrassing, but I love the car. My dad bought it over 35 years ago.
