I'm helping a friend restore a 1956 Thunderbird that he purchased partially restored and in boxes. In one of the boxes were two different down draft tubes, one with a bracket that attaches to the starter bolt and one without a bracket. Since he is restoring this Thunderbird for Concours judging, which is the correct down draft tube for this engine?

I asked the same question on another Thunderbird forum that I belong too and the replies and photos I received indicated that the down draft tube with the bracket attached is the correct bracket for this engine.
