That big black round thing between your firewall and the brake master cylinder is your brake booster. If yours needs to be rebuilt a lot of guys have been happy with http://boosterdeweyexchange.com/ which I believe many Tbird suppliers would send out the rebuilds to them instead of doing them in house.

All ‘64s were fitted with stock power assist 4-wheel drum brakes. Your picture shows a stock master/booster assembly.

First, all 1964 TBirds came with power brakes as standard equipment. How you tell (from your picture) is the large black circular thing that the Master Cylinder/Brake Cylinder is mounted to. It is a vacuum container (that receives vacuum from the engine intake manifold) that provides the “power”. Technically, they are vacuum assisted brakes.
