I've got a 65 hardtop with 106,000 miles, there is about 20-25 degrees of play in the steering wheel. I know that these cars have no steering feedback- ie, the power steering makes moving the wheel effortless. Is this an inordinate amount of steering play and can it be remedied without replacing the steering gear box?
