I recently purchased a 2002 hardtop for my 2005. I have wind noise in the middle of the top/windshield area. Can I replace the rubber gasket an perhaps solve this issue? Thanks.

Though all the HTs are exactly the same they do need to be custom fitted to each car. Your may need to have this done which is fairly simple to do. Pull the headliner down from inside the HT, loosen the mounting brackets at each corner & allow them to move to aline themselves to the bolt that secures the HT to the windshield frame. Once they aline themselves retighten the 3 screws that hold the bracket to the HT.
Also be certain you are mounting the HT to the body in the correct sequence.
If these steps do not remove the wind noise then it is possibly the seal you have mentioned.
