2005 Horn Location

Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I removed the top panel on my Thunderbird so I could take take a picture of the horn. As you can see by the lack of space, to remove the horn you have to remove the lower splash shield.

The horn relay is relay number 6 in the auxiliary junction box under the hood. See the attached picture. I would remove the relay and look to see if there is a part number on it. It looks like a standard relay.

Before you replace the relay, why not test it to see if it is defective.

I attached the horn relay testing procedures along with the wiring diagram in case you determine that the relay is not you problem.
