run out of gas with a 1/2 a tank

Yes I had this problem and had to take it to Ford for repairs. I found out that the transfer tube from the drivers side pump to the passenger side had come off the pump. Apparently it has to do with a poor installation of the pumps in the tank. Ford will not claim it as a factory recall problem. It cost me over $600.00 to have it repaired. Good Luck Rick
