I am interested in all 2004 Ford Thunderbird recalls, and any problems that other owners have had. Mine is a 2004, with 33,000. miles. When is it usual to have the A/C compressor replaced?

Thank-You

Search the web, there is a site for recalls in the Government. Not sure you will find one on 2004 TBirds though

If you set the alarm that may be the drain. If not, I believe that a good mechanic can find the drain and fix it.

2004...I would guess it is the battery
I use a battery tender and not a trickle charge (there is a difference).
Replaced my original battery (dated 2001) last year. Not because I had to, just didn't want to press my luck too far

I had the A/C compressor go out on my 2005 at 9000.miles. From what I have seen on the internet, it is not unusual although of all the cars I have owned I have never had to replace an A'C compressor. My feeling is Ford just had a bad batch. Thank goodness my was covered under the Ford ESP extended warranty.

Working on that. It appears not to work for some reason. Very sorry. Worked for me just moments ago.
