2004 intake manifold torque

Intake manifold torque ? Also what is that pad laying in the intake valley ?, do I need it ?

Per my Ford workahop manual for 2005 Ford Thunderbird dtd 8/2004, you already have the correct torque and sequence diagram. I don't see any other "pad" mentioned, besides the intake manifold gaskets. Maybe you got something extra from Ford?
