2004 . Want to wire carcam into the overhead light panel. Can be done? Thanks for any help.

These really need to be powered from the fuse box. They make the power conversion for them as well-. I did this in my Mustang. Here is a link to see what I am talking about- https://amzn.to/3efUMe2

They only use 5V and most everything in the car is 12V, so that power box is vital.
 
Thanks, @biddle. I was hoping there would be room for a voltage converter. Guess I will just have to tackle the bezel and find out. Cheers
