Could someone enlighten me as to the size of the COP cover screw? I'm having the valve cover gaskets replaced, and I noticed some of the screws are missing. I'd like to pick up some extras to give to the mechanic. Also, I wish someone made a custom wingnut for those horrible lower back position screws. Maybe the little wings could mimic TBird logo, just canted higher so they don't catch on things? Just a thought. Could probably just cut a washer and weld them on myself. Anyways, need sizing and possibly a source for those screws. Thanks, guys. I'll have the COPs/plugs replaced at the same time, so my '04 can fly properly again.

Any m5 x 12 will work, just does NOT include the built on washer, add a washer. lower drivers and upper passenger sides are the bear.

Thanks, guys, went to my local Ford dealership, got 4 pack for $6.50. Can't hurt to have spares, constantly reading about COP covers missing them. What do you think of my idea about wings on the screw head to facilitate easier removal? Sure would make emergency COP replacement faster while traveling away from home.
