After driving to run errands, when I stop and come back after 20-30 minutes, my car idles rough for a minute or two. If I apply gas, it seems to work itself out. What could be causing this? I recently had and oil leak fixed and the coils replaced by Ford - ugh! I only have 38,000 miles on this vehicle.

I have a 2003 Tbird with 30,200 miles. I had the same problem 2 years ago. When restarting a warm/hot engine after it was turned off for 10 to 20 minutes, it ran very rough for a minute or two. It seemed that trying to raise the idle by gently pressing the throttle seemed to reduce that time to less than a minute, maybe 20 to 30 seconds. People told be all kinds of things like cleaning the MAF (which I did) along with other things. This problem went on for many months, finally I ran the gas almost completly out and refilled it with a different brand, and the problem went away for two years, it ran perfect. So for two years I always went to that same gas station, the same pump. That was until last week when I filled the tank again. I then drove it for about 5 minutes and turned it off. When I tried to restart it 15 minutes later and the problem was back. I am going empty the tank and try a different brand of gas again. I'll let you know.
