34,589 miles, Ocassionaly after driving around, parking then restarting the engine stumbles and runs rough until it smoothes itself out.
This may happen twice a week and then not again for a few more weeks.
It runs like the choke is out and getting too much fuel and trying to run full rich until it smooths out. Coils and plugs are only a few months old
Anyone having or had a similar problem?
Many Thanks
Ron

The misfiring cylinder must be identified through misfire codes.
  • Rule out base engine problems
  • Rule out fuel problems
  • Look at ignition problems and be sure to rule out coil primary circuit issues.
Anytime a warning light illuminates a fault code is stored in any number of the vehicle's control modules. It doesn't matter if the warning light is no longer illuminated, fault codes and freeze frame data are stored in the control module's memory. If you can tell me what fault codes are stored in the different control modules, I'll be able to help you with your concerns. Start by using a scan tool, not just an OBD code reader, to check for faults stored in all control modules.
