Posting Cars Wanted/For Sale/Appraisal/Pricing/Research Discussion in Wrong Forum
Look at a locally owned 2003 to purchase. They are "asking" $19,500 with 62K miles. Body and interior are in great shape. I have a mechanic that can look at it. Spent most years garaged in Florida, and has new tires, suspension, shocks done by local reputable shop. Any thoughts about anyone else that owns a 2003 to look for?, as well as price point etc. Has hardtop and roller stand for it. I like the color, and that it is local with service history and a shop that is reputable to work on it. Thanks in advance.

That's pretty much all you need to do. The car is over 20 years old. Keep in mind, many parts are not available for the car anymore and they made less than 70k of these new so it's not like finding a part for an F150.

The asking price is the real problem here. Crazy asking price, and people that price cars like this are always hard to deal with. There has been one for sale where I live for months less miles and they can't sell it at 11,000. You could have the car detailed, restored by a celebrity mechanic shop, fly to Knoxville, rent a cabin in Gatlinburg for a week and still save thousands. LOL

You can read this thread for typical problems the #1 being the FEM.

Your photos of the photos of the car have been removed as we can't tell anything from that other than they are dated January so they have been trying to sell the car for months, if not longer. You can post a link to the listing so we can review it.

to find the value, look at

like stated above, everything sounds great except the price.....you can find a really nice one for less than 12,000.....I bought my 2005 8 years ago for $17,500 w/ 39k,
fun cars, but replacement parts can be a problem. good luck!
