2002 Thunderbird Hydraulic Cooling Fan Conversion

While replacing my engine bay wiring harness on my 02, and, with great difficulty, removing all the hydraulic cooling parts, pumps and hoses, putting in 100 inch belt, and acquiring a salvage 2003 electric fan.. I have decided that instead of using the 2003 electric fan which draws 43 amps, does not marry well with the 2002 electronics, I'm going to go with an aftermarket fan and controller...mounted inside the existing shroud, similar to what Thunderbird 22 did. I checked the Lincoln LS forums, and many of them do the same. There is a way to set up the 2003 fan, written above somewhere, but it's way too complicated for me. Since it was a improperly installed fan which caused my underhood fire, I'm not going to make the same mistake that the prior owner made.
