2002 tbird glove box handle broke how can i open it?

My 2002 bird came with a broke off opener handle on the outside of the glove box. Would anyone have a secret or diagram on how I can open it and then get a kiik at the handle mechanism to fix it please? My 1st post here newby!

Do not know how much of your handle is broken off, however there is a small lever tab inside that presses on
the latch to open. I would take a small flat blade screwdriver and reach up in the handle area, and try and press
on the tab to open. It is in a hard to reach angle, so going to take some twisting, and bending, hope you are
flexible. You may have to press the tab in a down ward motion.

Thanks I cant find anything relative to this detail so thank you. The latch handle lifts up if there was one. I gotta try to see where your referring to use screwdriver

When you lift the handle up, there is a small lever - tab that moves downward, this downward motion of this tab
presses on the latch inside the glovebox to make the latch unlock.

It is hard to see, but it is there.
