When the car was new the radio volume was automatically adjusted when the top was down based upon speed. That stopped working a couple of years later (about 2005). Since I now have spare time does anybody know what controls that or how to fix it?

I believe it's in your manual. Mine is put away somewhere and I don't have time right now to look

Barry,

Try pushing the on button for 5 seconds then you should see 'speed volume' on the display. Use the select button to increase/decrease. 0 is off and 7 is the max.

Thank you for that info. I did what you said and the volume display come on showing zero. I will be testing this out tomorrow. IIRC there is something in the menu that also controls whether that feature operates based on the top's position.
