need to know how to put hydraulic fluid in the motor the runs the top.

Maybe this will help. It looks rather involved. Maybe you should make a YouTube video if you try it.

Did you find oil under the car to make you think it was low. There is a section on diagnostics for the top, but way outside anything I would do. It could be the switch, FEM or REM.
